Reginald L. Snyder

Reginald ("Reggie") Snyder is an experienced trial lawyer whose litigation practice primarily focuses on commercial and real estate disputes, products liability, and personal injury.

Prior to co-founding Dye Snyder, LLP, Reggie began his legal career with a large law firm in Birmingham, Alabama where his practice primarily involved handling litigation for large companies, including contract and construction disputes, products liability, employment discrimination, and personal injury. He successfully first chaired two bench trials involving personal injury claims stemming from motor vehicle accidents, and he mediated a commercial litigation matter between a publishing company and a public school system involving a dispute concerning royalty payments.

He then moved to Houston, Texas and worked for another large law firm where his practice primarily involved handling a variety of commercial and products liability litigation. Reggie successfully first-chaired a jury trial and second-chaired two others involving commercial disputes. He also prepared several complex, multi-million dollar products liability cases for jury trial (including drafting jury charges and various pre-trial motions), and he successfully first-chaired three products liability bench trials. In recognition of the quality of his work and his commitment to excellence, Reggie was named a "Texas Rising Star" in the "Super Lawyers" edition of the Texas Monthly for four consecutive years (2003-2006).

Reggie then moved to Atlanta, Georgia and worked for another large law firm where his practice primarily involved handling products liability litigation for national insurance companies. He frequently retained and consulted with fire, consumer product, and construction experts regarding product failures, and he successfully mediated four cases in which he secured substantial settlements for his clients.

In Atlanta, Reggie later worked for a small commercial real estate law firm where his practice primarily involved handling real estate litigation for commercial real estate owners, property managers, and landlords. He successfully first-chaired dozens of dispossessory bench trials and negotiated numerous monetary settlements. He also provided advice and pre-litigation guidance to his commercial real estate clients regarding interpreting and enforcing lease terms, drafting lease amendments, and complying with applicable municipal, county and state ordinances.

Reggie is married and has two children. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading and sports.
